Fear the future!
Thursday, July 24th, 2025 7pm – 8pm PDT, Room 9

No one knows what the future holds, but comics are always terrifying. Will aliens invade them? Will environmental collapse take us? What happens if there is a robot revolution? Panelists such as Nick Dragotta (Absolute Batman) and Chris Condon (Fallout News) have joined moderator Chloe Maveal (the 2000 ad thrill cast) and what are the worst possible events?

The Shock of the Future: Fight the Future!
Saturday, July 26th, 2025 5pm – 6pm PDT, Room 9

The future is unpredictable and confusing. When things seem the worst, can the comics encourage readers to put their future into their own hands? Panelists such as Stephanie Williams (Nubia: Queen of the Amazon), Hayden Sherman (Absolute Wonder Woman), and Matt Bose (The Toxic Avenger) join moderators Tiffany Bab (Comic Courier) and Steve Morris (2000 advertising marketing manager) to talk about comics, politics and revivals.

Plus, there’s a free collectible tote bag featuring Robin Smith’s Judge Dredd Art, a free poster tube with iconic rogue trooper covers by Dave Gibbons, and a free copy of comic book titles with a huge range of rebellions.
