The iconic Age Apocalypse storyline makes a massive comeback with the Apocalypse X-Men, a brand new issue six event released in September by Marvel Comics this fall. Legendary author Jeff Loeb, who helped create the original 1995 crossover, worked with Eisner-nominated artist Simone Di Me to rekindle the mutant dystopia that changed the X-Men forever.

Is it even more exciting? X-Men fan favorite Joe Madureira returns to the franchise for the first time in decades, with her unique art style that helped define the look of the X-Books in the 90s. He draws variant covers in every issue of the series. This starts with three versions of the X-Men in Apocalypse Alpha #1, and now includes the blood-dispersing virgin variant and an impressive black and white edition.

“I was literally a kid when I drew the amazing X-Men,” Madirayra said. “Now I can bring something new to these characters and do justice to Simone’s explosive pages.”

The new series will be featured shortly after the original apocalypse is over. Magneto’s team believed they sacrificed everything to save the multiverse, but their world did not disappear. Now, desperate to keep their reality alive, the Apocalypse X-men travels to the main Marvel universe, fighting their mainstream counterparts in a timeline and ideological conflict.

The series will be released in September with the X-Men from Apocalypse Alpha #1 and will continue until fall with the X-Men from Apocalypse Omega #1, which will be rapping alongside the X-Men from Apocalypse Omega #1. Book a Madilayra variation now and prepare for decades of mutant conflict!
