Nightlife Noir, an anthology comic by author/creator Jack Mulkey Teen, returns to the fifth issue. Debuting on Kickstarter, which was a hugely successful four years ago, the series is one of the most interesting and independent titles currently being released. Inspired by the experiences of Mulqueen, who works at nightclubs, the Anthology series features a vast neoir look in America’s most famous cities.
Every night, as the sun sets in a city that never sleeps, millions of New York’s most da dog residents set off on the streets looking for all sorts of trouble. Nightlife Noir serves as a record of their stories, featuring dozens of different artists throughout their run, all adding flavour and style to the anthology.
The fifth issue of Nightlife Noir follows a wild overnight trip from the club to dancers, including a $100 bill, plus drug deals and even the shady bottom of New York City, where you don’t know where to go next on this roller coaster. There are illustrations and artworks of Ren Gogo, Kelsey Ramsay, Marianna Inazi, Filia Brachuhin, Nil Vendorel, David Still, Abirei Kasenov, Brian Rebel, Brian Rebel, Edison Neo, Artiom Topling, Liana Kangas, Paul Azachecca, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Amaras, Marassus, and more.
