Creative Corps such as Jeremy Adams, Morgan Hampton and Amankai Naerpan have returned to another installment of the Green Lantern Corps. This issue serves as a great reminder of why a second book is needed to explore the vast legions of Green Lanterns. Now, imagine them focusing on other lanterns on the emotional spectrum as well. In this issue, you will definitely bring the lantern into outer space, but these writers, together with amazing guest stars, create a script that will take you into the character’s internal space. Get the Green Lantern lineup and make sure to recharge your ring when you’re ready for this issue.
DC Comics
The issue begins with Keri and Ellie exploring an emotional fallout from the previous issue. Something is heavy in Keri’s mind. I am particularly looking forward to where the tension is headed in the way Ellie is portrayed deeply in the greater mysteries. It will then be divided into three parts into new missions. First, Sinestro and Vexar’u clean up parts to rebuild the yellow lantern battery, from Issue #1, to the ruins of Korugar. The dynamics between the two are intriguing and there is a prolonged sense of Vexar’u’s foreseeable fate. And yes, here’s a reunion scene where the fans get a real kick.
The other half of the problem is quiet standout. Jessica Cruz and Joe Murraine are teaming up. Their scenes are emotionally rich and pinned to mutual respect and subtle callbacks. Jessica’s re-emergence anxiety is addressed with attention and credibility, but Joe’s gentle and observant support is a great reflection of her law enforcement background. These two lanterns bring out the best of each other, and the journey to Mogo feels like it has a purpose, not just another space hop, but rather a mission with emotional weight and the history behind it.
DC
This issue continues to prove that the Green Lantern Legion is a book that really brings the characters to life. Callbacks to past issues and events such as the Civic Legion build a cohesive continuity and show why each lantern, like Green, whether new or veteran, is worthy of the spotlight. It is a story with heart, history and momentum, bringing us closer to the next big clash of a broken spectrum arc as the threat of Starbreaker hegemony grows.
Green Lantern Corps #6 balances introspection and universe conspiracy. The writing team bounces into personal dynamics, including the reappearance of Jessica Cruz’s quiet unrest, as they develop a strong relationship with Jo Mullein. The issue advances the plot line, including Sinestro, Vexar’u, and Mogo, a favorite place for fans back. With previous issues and callbacks to rich emotional beats, this issue continues to examine why this second lantern title is essential. It emphasizes the diverse strengths and voices of the entire corps without covering one character. The character-driven sci-fi issue continues to advance the larger, destroyed spectral saga to the next chronicle.

This issue gives Jessica Cruz, Keri Kinterra and Bexal meaningful depth while reaffirming Joe Mullrain’s grounded intuitive strength
Callbacks to past issues such as the Civic Legion, Jessica’s Anxiety, and Keri’s Unresolved Emotions make the story feel interconnected and purposeful
I feel that each lantern’s role is acquired thoughtfully and acquired.
Split Focus could potentially take momentum as the storyline is forked between Cinestro’s field mission and Jessica/Joe’s emotional journey
