Vault Comics Publishing Partner’s Aethon Books adapts his bestselling LitRPG series to combat monsters to WebComic. The Kindle and Audible BestSeller series was created by Travis Deverell, also known for Pen Name Shirthaloon, and has sold millions of units in e-books and audiobooks, making it one of the greatest fantasy series of all time.

Read more below:

The Isekai Litrpg series tells the story of Jason Asano, a laid back Australian, suddenly transported to a mysterious world characterized by magic, monsters, dangerous garden malls, bloodthirsty families, annoying gods and a disappointing lack of sandwiches. Beloved by fans for his humor, action and cast, he helped create a massive LITRPG market.

“We’ve been an e-book and printing publisher for him fighting monsters since he’s been fighting monsters for many years,” said Eton CEO Rhett Bruno. “We look forward to introducing this incredible story into one of the fastest growing entertainment formats.”

“I’m very excited to work with Eton to bring him to fight monsters in a fresh new visual medium,” Deberel said.

Fighting monsters, he is set to participate in Aethon’s growing action fantasy comics, Professor Return of the Runebound, and my best friend, Eldritch’s Law of Fear and Cultivation.

The release is planned for mid- to late 2026, with subsequent print publications.

From the Amazon series description:

Jason wakes up in a mysterious world of magic and monsters.

It’s not easy to jump your career from a middle manager at Office Supplies Store to an adventurer in the heroic dimension. At the very least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it’s hard to do good when your power is all evil.

He will face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters…and that’s the first day. He will need courage, he will need wit, he will need his own magical powers. But first, he will need pants.

After solidifying himself as one of the most rated serial novels on Royal Road with an astounding 13 million views, he is now available on Kindle, fighting monsters.

About the series: Isekai culture clashes as we find ourselves in a very serious world. Watch him gain suspicious and evil powers through a unique system of progression that combines cultivation with traditional LITRPG elements. Enjoy a weak and strong story with the main character who earns his power without covering everyone around him with lots of booty, adventurers, gods and magic. Rich characters and worldbuilding provide elements of humor, political intrigue and life, along with many monster battles and adventures.
