Last year, Skybound released an artbook for The First Season of Invincible, a Smash-Hit Superhero Animated Series Streaming on Prime video. Given the incredible success of the series, the second season follow-up artbook seemed like a safe bet. Sure enough, today Skybound and Image Comics revealed the first look of the Invincible Season 2 Artistic Interior Pages available this November.

It’s safe to assume that fans are looking forward to the artbook for the third season. Until then, check out the details and excerpts from the art of Invincible Season 2 below.

Art of Invincible Season 2 features exclusive characters, backgrounds, vehicle designs and important art. The volume brings fans behind the scenes and includes interviews with major creatives, including invincible comic co-creators Robert Kirkman and Corey Walker. The book is written by Mark Smerak in an introduction by Robert Kirkman and features a stunning cover by Corey Walker and colorist Dave McKaig.

The book takes part in the art of Invincible Season 1 as the first animated art book produced by Skybound for the Landmark franchise’s ascension against television. The Art of Invincible Season 1 (Moon Code: 0923IM850; ISBN: 978-1-5343-9909-9-9 | SRP: $39.99) is available where the book is currently for sale.

Created by Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker, Invincible #1 debuted on January 22, 2003 on Critical Acclaim. Ryan Ottley joined issue #8 in late 2003 as a new series artist and contributing creator. Throughout its 15 years of running with Image Comics, Invincible not only continued its historic 146 issues, but also produced multiple spinoff series and crossovers between competitors with certain friendly neighborhood superheroes. In 2021, Invincible arrived as a television series, streaming only on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories, leading a new life with fans around the world. The acclaimed adult animation series co-produced by Skybound Animation and Amazon MGM Studios recently wrapped its third season. Each season was “certified” by the Rotten Tomatoes, with the second and third seasons earning a perfect 100% rating. Along the way there is a fourth season, and with a constant new activity in properties across entertainment, Invincible continues to be the cornerstone of the pop culture landscape, which is gaining popularity every year.
