Since its release in 2020, the world of Cyberpunk 2077 on CD Projekt Red (based on the original TTRPG by Mike Pondsmith) continues to expand on many books published by Dark Horse Comics and Netflix’s heartbreaking 2022 anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Currently, both spinoffs are set to collide with Cyberpunk. The manga of Edghanners Madness, Baltoszettiball (the show’s co-writer) and Asano (BNA: Brand New Animals) follows Rebecca and Pilar before the events of the anime. Vol. 1 of the series featuring English translations by Stefan Kiełbasiewicz. and lettering by Brendon Hull will be released by Dark Horse Manga in February.

Rebecca grows up with her brother Pilar, who pursues their shared dream of becoming a legendary edgyanner like her father. With the rampaging of technology, violence and obsessions with power, Night City Megalopolis creates struggle, pain and confusion wherever you go! As they go through daily life, a mysterious man appears before them, changing their future trajectory. In this manga, the first part to Cyberpunk: The life of Edger Runner, brother Rebecca and Pilar is filled with insanity, rushing through the night city to prove themselves as the Edgerers!

Additionally, the first 40 pages of the book’s limited edition, single issue-style edition, Cyberpunk: Ed Garnners Madness Chapter 1, will be available only at Anime Expo and San Diego Comic-Con this July. This version, which must be read from the left, has 2,500 copies of print run, costing $25 each, and is limited to just 5 for each customer per day. CD Projekt Red will be selling exclusives at Anime Expo (July 3-6) at the booth at 325 South Hall 325, available at SDCC (July 24-27) from Dark Horse’s Booth #2615. CDPR will also discuss the Cyberpunk: Edger Runner manga from Anime Exponent. We’ll do scenes with the creators. This will take place at Petry Hall on July 4th at 2:15pm.
