Green Lantern #24 Review

Xermanico and Jeremy Adams have another hit issue with Green Lantern #24, as they showcase another fan favorite character from the Green Lantern: The Animated series. With so much going on in the emotional spectrum and Green Lantern Legion, this introduction is very welcome to a large cast. This character has their unique abilities and show backstory, and could bring exciting and entertaining storylines to the future of the comics. Before it’s released, Xermanico and Adams will offer you more adventures featuring Hal and Carol along with Kyle and his crew. But what do we learn from their adventures?

DC

The Green Lantern continues to read as a book by Hal Jordan and Kyle Rainer, and is interwoven with adventure. The timing of their stories is fun. Because it keeps you on a thrilling roller coaster of emotions. Separating the two stories starts with Hal and Carol. Their segments are fun as they explore characters and macros in an emotional spectrum. From the preview of the question you can get a glimpse of their dialogue. As a longtime Hal Jordan fan, I love where Jeremy Adams robbed Hal and Carroll’s relationship. Once, it’s earned, authentic and mature. Carol has also grown into a pretty hero as they pick up the strangeness of the guards and prisons as they drop off criminals.

DC

Kyle, Superboy, Odyssey and Silver Scarab (aka Golden Age Blue Beetle Dan Garrett) continue in deep space. The humor is instantly hit with the attention-grabbing line of silver scarab, “Kids…”. Their side quests are speedy, but some interesting aspects include the Silver Scalabs that used his powers, the inspiration that gives Superboy, and the mystical new members, a great addition to the story. This extra player may make some fans uneasy as they present another character in a series with a rather impressive cast. However, fans of the Green Lantern: Animated Series will love this addition as it can bring some important elements to the story of Green Lantern Mithos and Razor.

DC

Overall, Green Lantern #24 is a fun, carefree issue with interesting additions that keep the entire story moving forward, but it can be read on its own. Adams does an incredible job with the character style and voice while continuing to expand the cast of this series, and Xermanico consistently offers the artistic side of the story. Splash pages are excellent and always require you to fully absorb them over time. This issue is a very popular item for collectors, with two more fascinating additions to the myth.

“Green Lantern” #24 is an adventure with a rich character

Green Lantern #24

Green Lantern #24 is a fun, easygoing issue with interesting additions that keep the entire story moving forward, but it can be read on its own. Adams does an incredible job with the character style and voice while continuing to expand the cast of this series, and Xermanico consistently offers the artistic side of the story.

The emotional maturity of Hal and Carol’s relationship adds real depth

Adding a Razor to the Continuity of Comics is unexpected and exciting

Balance between grounded character beat, Hal & Carol, Cosmic Badia Adventure, Kyle & Friends

The new addition is exciting, but the book is now juggling a rather large ensemble
