Written by Danny Hogan of Felipe Cunha, The Purpose Project is a salty workplace comedy that will soon become an ambitious stoner and critics as part of a new government initiative called the “purpose project.” The goal is to help everyday citizens adapt to a world where most of their jobs have become outdated and to have the opportunity to find alternative sources of purpose beyond the traditional concept of “work.”
“I always believed that storytelling was one of the most powerful ways to help us rethink what is possible,” said Andrew Yang, a former Democratic president in 2020 and a mayoral candidate for New York City in 2021. “We’ve seen countless dystopian visions of the future, but there’s far less exploration about what can go right. That’s why we’re very excited about our purpose projects and the larger Protopia collection. These stories challenge us to think beyond mere survival and build our future to create new opportunities for human prosperity.”
