Power Rangers Prime did an amazing job of defeating Power Rangers Mythos, but the biggest thing that caught my eye is that this team of Rangers is getting much closer and closer than the other incarnations. Power Rangers Prime #7 continues to explore this as it is split up about how teams deal with marks. While Jun and Valentina need to navigate the Eltarian Event (which keeps the Ranger’s identity rapping), Lauren and Orion meet many of the people affected by Eltar’s Earth reign.
Power Rangers Prime #7 brings Michael YG back to the art team of the series, bringing new elements to the table: Mutants! Yes, mutants live under Angel Gloves, and YG, alongside Fabi Marquez, gives them enough variety to rival the teenage mutant Ninja Turtles. It’s fun to watch Orion fight them, but in the Mark and Val scene things go in order. You can’t throw punches when talking to your parents, but you can feel the tension simmering beneath them.
The best part of this issue features Teezee, a miniature version of Red Ranger Tyrannosaurus Zoldon, who first appeared in the Power Rangers/VR Troopers Special, which released this free Comic Book Day. I’m not going to engrave words: Teezie is pretty cute. He is essentially a living fanko pop, but has the firepower of noisy cricket. Depending on whether he gets the other Mini Zords or not, he definitely feels like he’ll become a breakout character in the book.
boom!
I am tolerant if I don’t mention how great Melissa Flores’ writing is. Through Power Rangers Prime #7, she presents Rangers with some major dilemmas. When Lauren finds a mutant’s home, she learns she has connections with her family. Val reunites with Ryan and thinks she can talk to him – Jun correctly pointed out that he and the other VR troopers attacked them and their fellow rangers. Flores is good at stacking these different conflicts and adding more dimensions to the rangers and the world they live in.
The final page suggests yet another Rangers/Troopers conflict (which should be fun considering the film’s VR Troopers miniseries), but also suggests that the main characters from Power Rangers Mitos are supposed to make the entrance. If that happens, when it comes to this character, we can’t wait to see what Flores and YG bring to the table. It hopes to bring more context and more context about what happened to Rita Repulsa and why the Power Rangers are public enemy #1.
The balance of Power Rangers Prime #7 further embody that world, balancing both physically and emotionally. Just Flores and YG are beginning this story and need more. Specifically, you need to see more Teezee.
Power Rangers Prime #7 is available anywhere comics are on sale.
“Power Rangers Prime” #7 further embodies that world

Flores knows how to balance both physical and emotional conflicts.
Michael YG is back and offers some intense battle scenes, especially if the mutants are concerned.
The final page teases the appearance of the main characters in Power Rangers Lore.
I’ll die for Teezie.
