Dark Horse Comics revealed that a new He-Man series is on the way: Masters of the Diverse: The Sword of Flaws. The Four Island miniseries written by Tim Seeley along with the art of Freddie E. Williams II, is rooted in the classic cosmic continuity of the universe masters. The series began on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, with Issue #1 now available for preorder for $4.99 from participating local comic shops.

Sealy comes from the turtles in the Graeksle series.

So, what is the Master of the Universe: a Sword of Flaws?

A legion of heroic warriors protects the magical realm known as Etania. They are led by Teela: Royal Guard Captain, Man at Arms: Weapon Master and Battle Instructor, and the powerful and heroic He-Man. Known as masters of the universe, these heroes keep the threats at bay, like evil skelettos and his minions. But when ancient evil artifacts are excavated from the depths, should the universe masters wash the land in search of this Prechern’s power?

El Segundo, California and Milwaukee, Oregon, May 30, 2025 – Mattel, Inc., owner of the world’s most iconic brand portfolio, in collaboration with Mattel, Inc. (NASDAQ:MAT), one of the world’s most iconic brand portfolios, Dark Horse Comics. (NASDAQ:MAT) announced today the new Master of Universe. The continuity of the universe. The series began on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, and Issue #1 is now available for pre-order for $4.99 from participating local comic shops.

The new series is written by New York Times bestselling author Tim Seeley. The characters are written by Eisner Award-winning artists Freddie E. Williams II (Masters of the Universe/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Turtles of Grayskull, Seven Soldiers: Mr. Miracle), Andrew Dalhouse’s Color Ghost), and Wald Design (Masters of the Universe/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Turtles of Grayskull, Kant: A Place Like House). Issue #1 features cover art by Williams and variants by Tim Seely with Brad Simpson.
