At the orphanage at Medend Hearts, Gage is another forgotten child with a blank past and vivid imagination. Troubled by the dreams of faceless parents and tormented by a bully, he finds comfort in a strange white rabbit that appears outside his window. In a dusty stack, Gauge discovers a book bound to a mysterious barbed wire with no explanation and no memorable cover. The page seems to know him, and when the final chapter is blank, the line between fiction and reality begins to blur.
Carries a surreal, rotten world where hearts hang from trees and forgotten mansions hide their secrets, Gauge must navigate a dark fairy tale of twisted forests, strange allies, and mysterious truths. As the story unfolds around him, Gage realizes that this is not just a story, it belongs to him. And the ending is not written… yet.
Pre-orders are currently available on the official Sumerian Comics website. The book will be released on September 10th, 2025.
