Marvel Comics has revealed that Punisher is returning to a new Red Band series by Benjamin Percy and Julius Ota. The Punisher is “resurrected” and returns to his classic outfit. On September 10th, the first issue features a Marco Checchetto main cover.

“Monsters Fighting Monsters, a keenly vengeful machine, Frank Castle is one of my favourite characters, and Punisher is a series I’ve written for a long time,” Percy shared. “Not only is Frank black, this is a book on red bands. You know what it means. I’m going to lean completely out and push the very limits of my favorite genre: a hairy psychopath. Art.”

So what is the Punisher?

Iteration and reload, true followers – Frank Castle is back. With no memories, full clips, cravings for anger, his violent answer could only be recorded in the Red Band series! The bullets fly, blood flow, and New York City citizens and criminals fear the Punisher’s name!

Finally, Punisher was when Jason Aaron sent him into a strange world in May 2023.

Check out the preview below.

New York, New York – May 23, 2025 – Frank Castle’s brutal war on crime will reignite in September this year with Punisher: Red Band! The 5 Islands limited series is by author Benjamin Percy and artist Julius Osa, and is currently streaming twisted horror with Helberine.
