Fans may have hoped that a new Superman trailer would be released last month in honor of Superman Day. Sadly, it wasn’t. But as the proverb says, as Warner Bros. and DC Studios today unveiled a new Superman trailer, “good things come to those who are waiting.”
David Corenswett stars as a character of fame, and Rachel Brosnahan plays the brave reporter Lois Lane, but it’s not an exaggeration to say that the reaction to the first trailer was overwhelmingly positive. Though not as prominent as the first trailer, the beloved dog is still on display in a new trailer. Specifically, Crypto can be seen defending the Fortress of Solitary from an engineer (Maria Gabriella de Faria), who appears to be invading along with Lex Luther (Nicolas Holt).
DC Studios still raps much of the film, but this new Superman trailer offers some new insights into Steel’s plot as Lois Lane stops the war by grilling him for “illegally entering the country.” The country in question is probably Boravia, a fictional European country in the DC Universe, and was referenced in the first trailer.
The new Superman trailer says, “Guy Gardner Green Lantern, a gang of justice made up of Nathan Fillion, and Isabel as Hawkgirl, and Eddie Gatege as Mr. Great.
Superman will be participating in theaters and IMAX nationwide on July 11, 2025, and will begin internationally on July 9, 2025 and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
