Free comic books for 2025 can be found here, and there’s a boom in some of the free offerings! 20th Anniversary Special (FCBD 2025). As the title suggests, boom! The studio turned 20 this year and was established on June 1, 2005. In that time frame, it’s a boom! The studio is building a rich library of comics ranging from drama to horror to fantasy, both from acclaimed and new aspiring creators.

A boom to celebrate this rich history! The 20th Anniversary Special (FCBD 2025) features samples of the four most famous works, as well as stories from highly-prominent creators. Among the story collection is Brzrkr by Hollywood stars Keanu Reeves and Matt Kindt, with Ron Gurney’s artwork.

Also featured in the sampler is comic book veteran Mark Wade with Peter Klaus artwork.

(Fans of Detective Comics and Catwoman fame Ram V are also treated to many death samples from his creator’s comic Laila Starr. Boom! Studio has a treat for fantasy fans in the form of Mouse Guard by Peter Davison, depicting a world fully inhabited by animals. Fans of Tini Howard (and Catwoman fame) can also peek at the creator’s own story, Hello Darkness, along with collaborator Chloe Brailsford.

In addition to introducing various genres of booming manga! A booming story published by the studio! The 20th Anniversary Special (FCBD 2025) celebrates the diversity of voices in the comic book industry. This is reflected not only in the script level but also in the artwork. Doing so will lead to a boom! Studios shows that it doesn’t subscribe to just one perspective, but accepts multiple art styles equally.

Unfortunately, it’s a potential boom! Readers will only be covered in previews of 2-3 or fewer pages of each story preview. Still, despite its major drawbacks, potential readers are still getting a good quality sample of the work boom! The studio is producing it. This does enough work to direct readers that the comics you buy from FCBD’s comic shop are heading in the right direction.

‘boom! 20th Anniversary Special’ (FCBD 2025) Review

boom! 20th Anniversary Special

The perfect collection of booming! The studio celebrates its 20th anniversary with the best stories of its unknown and well-known creators.

Great samples from a variety of creators.

The preview of each story is too short
