Invader Comics will debut Death’s Immortal Hunter this May

Invader Comics has announced Death’s Immortal Hunter, a new 66-page horror fantasy one-shot. This one-shot introduces Dih’s universe.

Death’s Immortal Hunter will be released today at Kickstarter on May 1, 2025, and will timing the campaign with the Pagan Festival (or Bertin) in May. The new comic comes from Ki Miller (recall, unknown caller), author from a horrifying trio of Dean Cotts, Dave Mims and Camilo Ponce.

At the heart of the story is the Hunter. Despite his noble intentions, he is a mysterious figure who thrusts the veil between life and death. This confusion unleashed the confusion, allowing both light and dark to flourish without restrictions. In response, death to death provides an ultimatum. Faced with the calculations of the universe that restore balance or resets existence itself.

Understanding this 66-page one-shot is the ideal entry point for characters trapped in an infinite struggle. Troubled by his obstinate job of pursuing the demons he unleashes, Hunter is blamed for his hard-working life. His mistakes change the balance of being and support life in a disappointing way with a twist. Here, reality is grotesque, with individuals snaking through life, separated from the constraints of mortality. This loss removes the compassion, perspective and vulnerability that infuses life into purpose. In this unsettling realm, eternity turns into a deep curse.

“The series was born out of my love for Hellboy from Highlander, Hellblazer (John Constantine) and Mike Mignora,” says Miller. “I have been circling the idea for years, but have gone through many evolutions. These three short stories are the result of many trial and error. This is the first real breakthrough that I have found the tone and world that I feel is right.

Miller said, “This series of shorts is my proof: a fertile landscape that explores the characters, myths and themes that lay the foundations of the series. The immortal hunter of death, at its heart, is especially about his relationship with death. To bring the world to this point.”
