Through Deadline, Marvel Comics and Marvel Studios have announced Fantastic Four: First Steps Tie In Comic. The one-shot comic, released before the film in July this year, depicts the origin story of the film’s heroes.

Four years ago, the world was transformed as an astounding space-driven quartet revealed to the public their own and their amazing abilities! Since then, they have become world-famous as the Fantastic Four! Well, to celebrate that anniversary, Marvel Comics tells us about the first exploits that saved our city from almost destruction!
The comic marks the first tie-in Marvel comic produced for the MCU since the Black Widow Prelude in the 2020s. Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief CB Cebulski said: Go back and forth to create something truly special and unique. You can’t wait for fans to jump into this comic.
He said, “The heart of Marvel has always come from the comics, and Kevin (Fage) and the team have brought those pages to life in an extraordinary way in every film. Fraction himself stayed with the character for a press release, saying, “What an honor it’s been asked to celebrate the fourth anniversary of Fantastic Four! It was a thrill to bring the first legendary adventure into the world of the first legendary adventure! Big!”
Buckingham has not been quoted exclusively or in a press release, but given his strong affinity for Jack Kirby’s artwork, we can definitely expect his pencil to guide the king’s energy for this Fantastic Four version of the universe. With each deadline, he and the fraction were able to spend time on the film set as part of a new collaboration between both Marvel companies. His previous stories with the first family include the 2003 Fantastic Four #65-66 and the 2019 wedding special, while his upcoming wedding specials include June’s huge sized fantastic Spider-Man, Fantastic Four Fantastic Four Fantasy #2.
Fantastic Four: The first step will follow all the books mentioned above to the theater on July 25th.
