With Spider-Man’s new villain Hellgate being properly teased in Amazing Spider-Man #1, Marvel Comics released new information on upcoming battles this July. Check out the solicitations for Amazing Spider-Man #7 (July 2nd) and #8 (July 23rd)!

So, what’s going on in Amazing Spider-Man #7?

Helgate is open!

Spider-Man literally fights for his life as Helgate tries to prevent him from destroying Manhattan. But what does this strange new enemy want? And can Peter understand that before his days get worse? !

The fight continues with the astonishing Spider-Man #8 as the city watches the city as Spider-Man takes on the worst assault of his life. What can Spider-Man do to meet? Something has to be done!

New York, New York – April 22, 2025 – The amazing new era of Spider-Man has got off to a thrilling start! Launched earlier this month, new runs from Joe Kelly, John Romita Jr. and Pepe Lalaz promise to deliver the longing of all classic Spidey action leaders, taking Peter Parker to a bold new territory. Today, fans can take a look at the July issue, Amazing Spider-Man #7 and #8, and get a peek at what’s going on. The two will definitely talk when Spidey is completely demolished by Hellgate. Helgate shows that as the series approaches milestone #975th later this year, it marks only the beginning of a mystical new supervillain plan.
