Salt-worthy Marvel and X-Men fans are well aware of the original “future past” storyline within the page of the creepy X-Men #141–142, where they saw Kitty Pride travel back in time to prevent the future of dystopia. In the decades since its first release, the storyline has inspired inspirational spinoffs, films, television, and in particular the 2014 X-Men films. Similarly, in Comics Publishing, the storyline has been revisited countless times over decades, including X-Men: Days of Future Past-Domsday Minisies.

Today, Marvel announced the One-Shot X-Men by Chris Claremont. Additionally, the one-shot also includes a special Prelude Story: Chris Claremont, a limited edition fame hardcover, available only in the Marvel Made Paragon collection.

Official press release below:

A revelation of the nightmare world of future past days in a revelation by the legendary scribe, depicted by his X-Treme X-Men collaborator Salvador Larroca! Finally, discover how the surviving X-Men saved one of her own The Rachel Summers from her suffering as a hound, and find out which amazing faces have a key role to play in mutant resistance. It was presented alongside the original saga, in which Claremont and John Byrne unveiled their dazzling dystopian visions of the amazing universe of the future. The huge sized one-shot also includes bonus material to celebrate Chris Claremont’s comics over 50 years!
