Comixology Originals is adding four new science fiction comics from Superstar comic creators at Wondercon’s timing. Mark Guggenheim makes his original debut in artist Harvey Toribao and his Comixology in Ulysses Monarch from the comic book series “Adventure.” Hugo Award-nominated artist, writer and colorist Takisama will make his Comixology original debut along with artist John Bloglia in the comic book series. Writer and animator Chuck Austin continues his series Edge World as a writer and artist for the third and final seasons. Writer and producer Matthew Arnold returns to Comixology Originals with the Outerland of the original graphic novel, drawn by Davide Gianfelice.

Alianted is a sci-fi drama series written by Taki Soma, best known for his work on Bitch Planet, Rapture, The Victories, Dick Tracy, Iron Man, and Antobiographical Comic Sleeping Sleeping Sleeping, and was drawn by artist John Broglia.

Edgeworld Season 3 (No. 5) – Debut on May 13th

Following last season’s events, Edgeworld continues its intense third and final seasons featuring a rich and complicated world of characters and stories. Part of science fiction, edgy and powerful adventures, some detective series, some westerns, and edge worlds are a unique blend of energy, comedy and darkness.

Chuck Austin returns to Edgeworld this time to showcase his writers, artists and letter skills. In the animation, Austin produced shows such as Dawn of the Cruise, Sheila, Power of Power, and DreamWorks’ Rocky and Bullwinkle. In the comics, he is best known for his controversial running in X-Men and Superman, and writes the Ghond Hunter series The The Tormented for Comixology Originals.

Outerland (OGN) – Debut on July 29th

When a young prince living in the ancient Greek world is exiled to a prison island and prevents him from assuming a throne, he unintentionally discovers a massive global plot in this science fiction fantasy mashup.

The Outerlands is a riveting and timely tale of the dangers of society and technology, written by television and filmmaker Matthew Arnold, including NBC’s Siberia and the film Siberia, Emerald City, and includes the film “Shadow People,” released by Comixology Originals, and Emerald City, featuring Davide Gianfelice’s art.
