Marvel Comics revealed that a new Marvel rival was on in June this year, titled Marvel Rivals: Igneat. Oneshot is a member of Peach Mokoko and Japanese manga creators Yujikaku, Sakai Island, and Yamada Motouse.

So, what is Marvel’s rival: Will it light?

Marvel’s rivals will bring our heroes back to Japan for a whole new adventure!

First, Sai takes on the mixed chaos of poisonous symbiosis in Peach Moko’s breathtaking story! Then writer and artist Yuji Kaku brings Frank Castle, the invincible punisher. Where Peni Parker is, Sp// Dr is not too late…and the writer Mitsuyasu Sakai and artist Ryusei Yamada take K-Pop Star Luna Snow deep into Asgard and enter the hands of Hera!

New York, New York – March 20, 2025 – Marvel Rival fans can dive further into the fascinating world of hit games and uniquely incorporate Marvel characters in their local shops with special Marvel Rival variant covers and upcoming one-shots, including an all-new Marvel Rival.

The superhero team-based PVP shooter from Marvel Games and Netease Games is a global phenomenon, praised for its dynamic, fast-paced gameplay and its originality and variety in character designs, including those by comic book superstar Peach Momoko! Marvel Rivals: Ignite #1, a new wave of Momoko’s in-game costumes will take the central stage for a trio of Momoko and Japanese comic creators Suji Kaku, Mitsuyasu Sakai and Yamada. Each chapter presents a different third colour in a breathtaking spotlight of artistic talent presented in black and white!

Marvel’s rivals will bring our heroes back to Japan for a whole new adventure!
