The Hollywood reporter had a scoop that said the Fantastic Four was rebooting with a new issue #1 and a new creative duo. Because there are two duoes, and those duo are Ryan North and Humbert Ramos. Do you know what I did there?
July reboot, the first issue is the story of a time trip where FF has to find an eternal stone that can be accessed for all periods. Dinosaurs and fate are involved in nature.
“But as much as this first story includes dinosaurs and time travel, it’s really about these four amazing people and the depth of love they have for each other,” North told THR. “People often think of FF in terms of family, and they’re not wrong, but I think there’s something really beautiful about friendship too. You can see that with these characters.
Artist Humberto Ramos added: “I was fortunate to explain many of the most iconic superheroes in the universe, but I felt this book wasn’t the first one. The weight of the history and heritage of these characters lies on your shoulders, no matter who you are, and how you work in this industry.”
The renewal occurs after Fantastic Four #33.
“This book is in the middle of our one world under the event of destiny, so we can be sure he plays a role in the first few issues. After that there is the mystery of science, monsters, and a trip to space,” North said.
