Today, can AIPT exclusively share a slipcase for host Mortem, a wild metafiction story starring Kevin Sinick, host Carmen San Diego and time travel detective? And Greg Lee. Inspired by the film noir, the Time Travel Adventure is a murder mystery that includes Humphrey Bogart’s classic film, Big Sleep.
“Between the two of us, Greg and I have held a lot of game shows,” Sinick says. “As a result, we had a lot of random trivia floating around in our heads and said, ‘Hey, did you know that the peculiar thing in spaghetti is spaghetto?” And since we both played a fake detective in Carmen San Diego (I was a time travel detective and Greg the classic gum show detective), did you wonder how we would carry the fare in a real murder? The ultimate question is, “Are the hosts really smart? Or do they just have the answer?”

The thriller is portrayed by Damien Torres (Marvel Crisis Protocol) and Andrea Ciaborne (Gangsters vs. Nazis) and colored by Pippa Bowland (Judge Dread, Project Criptid) and written by Taylor Esposito (Red Had and Outlaw).
The 180-page graphic novel is told in four chapters from the perspective of four different characters. Kevin Shinick, Greg Lee, their fast-talking receptionist and a surprising mystery narrator will guide readers on an epic time travel adventure. Each chapter has a unique appearance and is collected in a gorgeous slipcase drawn by Jesse Larson (Hades Speak!).
