Marvel Comics officially unveils Greg Pack, and Summit Kumar is working with the death of Silver Surfer’s 5 Islands limited series. Released on June 11th, the series promises to introduce new enemies that don’t stop anything in order to crush Norrin Radd and Fantastic Four.

“In the world of Shade of Grey, the story of Norinrad can find us a little silver. We are very excited to have the opportunity to tell this story with incredible creators such as editor Tom Groneman, artist Summit Kumar and cover artist Dyke Luang. They’re giving it everything to this book and they’re going to bend your heart in all the best ways,” Pack told ComicBook.com.

Considering the death of Doctor Strange a few years ago, is this a death for Marvel in the limited series?

Check out the cover of the first issue below.

New York, New York – February 27, 2025 – It was announced last week on comicbook.com. Written by Greg Pack (Planet Hulk, Darth Vader) and drawn by Summit Kumar (The Web of Spider-Vess, Spider-Man: Black Suit and Blood), the No. 5 Limited series promises a tragic fate as a new enemy that even Power Cosmics can’t promote. This new rival stops nothing to crush Spaceways and his allies, the Fantastic Four Sentinels. But their battle to crush the earth is at a cost: what ancient secrets are found in the shadows of the surfers’ past? The secret is…Galactus? !
