Green Lantern #20 features a script that reminds us of the legendary story of the Green Lantern Legion, space adventures, and how the involvement of the Green Lantern Legion influenced daily life. Sometimes the story was about Ringwilder, the bad guy, or someone random. In this case, it shows the intersection of men who gave the emotions awful luck, and when the emotional spectrum goes wild, anger becomes entrenched. In this quirky, emotional story, artist Jack Herbert joins current creative team members Jeremy Adams and Romulo Fajardo Jr.
Green Lantern #20
A preview of this issue gives you a glimpse into the situation where Elastos triggers to wield a flame of fury. Jeremy Adams won’t give up on new characters. Instead, we witness how all aspects of Elastus’ life suck and take advantage of him. It’s a classic setup, but creating a “morally grey” character is still a wise choice. The situation of origin places Elastus in a league with Atrositus. It also helps to maintain the Red Lantern as a set of valuable characters instead of the group “Solomon Grundys are mean in space.”
DC
I enjoy Hal Jordan’s headspace is the idea we get. Adams does an excellent job of showing Jordan’s struggle to save Elastos, but when a turning point hits it hits it hits it hits hard. Artist Jack Herbert rides it and gives us a fantastic dark panel of Hal Jordan. The scene offers a great change in the executive mentality, moving from service to protection. Overall, it’s a beautiful story, and it’s back to the story of “Mogo not sociable”, but with a darker twist. Hopefully we get such an off-beat story during the fractured spectrum.
DC
Other book parts help you level up your gloomy stories with fun, humor and hijinx. While Jordan is on a solo adventure, you can see what Kyle Rayner, Superboy Con Elle and Odyssey the Time Bandit do. Adams gives characters fun dialogues that help brighten their mood and return to a happier mindset as Kyle and Superboy compete for Odyssey’s attention. Their tasks show off their abilities, giving artist Jack Herbert the opportunity to flex some skills, and show the heroes the heroes in action. Everything is completely wrapped in the cliffhanger on the last page that will turn the fractured spectrum into a story you’ll return to.
Green Lantern #20 is a question of the interesting and suspenseful personality that tells the history and story of the Green Lantern Legion. Jeremy Adams and Romulo Fajardo Jr. Welcome Artist Jack Herbert are welcomed by Creative GLC and continue on with the fractured spectrum. Here we see emotional spectral attention that confers abilities when in an uncontrolled state. Luckily, things aren’t that emotionally tasked, as Kyle Rayner, Superboy and Odyssey play Raiders in Lost Ark.
