Oni Press continues to kill with the activation of EC comics. Just yesterday, the line announced a new title on Comicspro. These include Hugo Award-nominated authors Corinna Bechko (Green Lantern: Earth One) and Eisner Awning Winning Artist Andrea Sorrentino (Gideon Falls, Old Man Logan). Scattered with EC’s own blood, which quickly emerged from the inscription from Abyss #3, Bon Vivant Vampire will make history as the first character from the iconic EC comic short story to her own original title.

This is the premise:

When you’re a vampire, everyone sucks. . . Sooner or later! Meet Ada, the immortal vampire who landed her at the gateway to an idyllic Caribbean resort. . . . An island paradise filled with wealthy tourists and superstitious locals. Then there’s enough food supply for the thirsty vamps trying to escape! However, as the ADA strikes the boundaries of a new hunting ground, she is soon caught up in a deadly game of moonlight cats and mice. . . Older, smart, completely different kinds of predators reveal their own physical hunger for greed and power. Who will survive when a brand new kind of blood type declares a war with an unning vampire with nothing to lose? . . And what will be left for them? !

The story takes place shortly after the first appearance of ADA in the nominal short story “Blood Type” from the inscription in Abyss #3. In fact, blood types aim to be the first in the new slate in the semi-regular EC Comics Limited series that comes up from EC’s monthly anthology title. Readers can keep up with the series with EC release EC Presents Blood Type #0 is scheduled for the 2025 Free Comic Day release by Bechko and artist Jonathan Case (Green River Killer). Creators Charlie Adrad (The Walking Dead), Chris Condon (The Ultimate Wolverine), Kano (Gotham Central), and Matt Kindt (Brzrkr, Mind Mgmt) since the first year of eC are candidates for the Eisner Award It features an entirely new cover by Tyler Crook (Alcatraz, Harrow County).

“Since the first day, it has always been our intention to push the boundaries of Oni Press’s activated EC comic line into new, unexpected territory. First, a new anthology series begins with Abyss and the cruel universe inscription. “The fleet of the world has come. This has shattered our own high expectations that it will be a new series of Oni’s bestsellers for over a decade.” “Now with blood type #1, we’re gearing up for something even more radical. With the first continuation of the EC comic anthology short, the thread of how one lonely vampire was lost in the ocean. Pick up, and soon the ice will wash over the tropical. Isle, she is not the only creature with a taste of flesh and blood. It is hilariously brutal twisted in a true EC way. Corina’s cleverly killer instinct is the perfect accent for the eerie art of Andrea Sorrentino, one of the best horror artists of today. You must already be dead to justify missing out on this book There’s!”

“Horror is always the place I felt most at home, and Andrea and I have in common… blood type, we are evil that expands the character I fell in love with as soon as I put it She created a story on the page. Does she love me? It’s not a chance, but that’s her charm. She’s a vampire, but it’s her ready for sparkle and romance. That’s not to say. But she’s ready to take over tropical paradise,” author Corinna Bechko said of the leading vampire woman of blood type: I hope that this long story will celebrate the tradition while doing something brand new. Would you like to join us on the most frightening vacation of your life? ”

“I think horror is mine,” said artist Andrea Sorrentino. “I’ve been working on a variety of things like superheroes and sci-fi in my career, and when it’s terrified, this is where I feel like I’m at home… some The opportunity to connect with the deepest fear of readers through images is a great and satisfying challenge. This is the first collaboration with EC Comics (one of the best comic horror producers) for two short stories, and then this exciting one. When asked if it was a new limited series launch, it was an honor. For me. I’m waiting for Corinna Bechko and my longtime collaborator Dave Stewart to join Colors for this new and amazing project It’s going to be so much fun and I can’t wait for readers to turn to what we’re doing here!”
