Exclusive Publication: DSTLRY announces Galactic Adult Sci-Fi series by Curt Pire and Amilcar Pinna

DSTLRY is launching a new series in 2025 called Galactic from Curt Pire (Indigo Children) and Amilcar Pinna (all-new Ultimates). Called a tarantint-esque erotic science fiction blockbuster, the comic follows praisers for its mission to save a princess in a dangerous psychedelic drug vendor.

This is my first time seeing DSTLRY’s Galactic. This is available in a prestige 48-page edition with wraparound cover. Issued covers for Pinna, Tula Lotay, James Stokoe and Dalton Rose. Check out the solicitations, covers and previews on the page below.

A surplus-physical blend of syncopated blockbuster action and interstellar escape, Galactic follows the villainous bounty hunter hired to retrieve a runaway princess with a psychedelic death vendor. What should be a simple payday escalates to a clashing course with the intergalactic war. A dog named Wolf pilots the spaceship.

“The Galaxy blends the gritty sweethearts of true romance with Incull’s lush World Building from Star Wars,” explains writer and co-creator Kurt Paia. “This is the first of the slates of great projects I’m building with my favorite new publishers. They’re all portrayed by world-class artists.”

“Only range, this is one of the biggest projects I’ve described,” continues co-creator and artist Amilcar Pinna. “When we move from a massive spread of Starfleets and black holes that are perfect for the oversized form of DSTLRY to a staccato shootout at Celestial diving bars, Galactic is the most dynamic and challenging sci-fi.”

“Galactic is one of the most refreshing pitches I’ve read in recent memory,” says Chip Mosher, co-founder of DSTLRY CCO&. “It’s an apocalypically cool and indecent excavation of science fiction rooted in the messy realism of human romance.”

“There’s nothing like a galaxy on the shelf right now,” says David Steinberger, co-founder and CEO of DSTLRY. “Kurt and Amilkar have built up explosive, heartfelt equal parts. This is fearless, widescreen storytelling.”

Galactic #1 by DSTLRY will arrive at comic book stores and online retailers in May.
