More Comics Pro Announcements from Dynamite: Publishers are reprinting classic black and white Vampirella Tales in their Hard Over Archive Edition, but recently they have started a more affordable paperback line. Volume 2 is now released in June and has a great story by Archie Goodwin. If you can take so many vampire actions, the complete line is planned in 15 volumes.

Vampirella Archives Volume Two collects issues #8-14 of the original Vampirella Magazine originally released by Warren Publishing. This stretch covers 1970 and 1971.
In the first issue of this second book, Goodwin quickly expanded Vampirella’s cast and lore to the ground, quickly hitting the ground, writing his own ongoing lead features. The duo introduces key support characters Conrad and Adam Van Helsing, the mysterious enemies of the cult cult, and the Crimson Chronicle. Mordecai Pendragon follows a few issues.
After Sutton’s Vampirella runs along #1-11, the final three issues of this volume introduce the debut of legendary artist Jose Gonzalez. The Master Spanish artist quickly became the decisive creator of the character’s most famous and decisive Warren era, and remains on the “Mount Rashmore” of almost every fan today for over 55 years of character history . His contributions to the series and characters continued until the end of the series in 1983. His diverse mixed media approach employs ink wash among other techniques, and the evolved use of photorealism’s inspiration makes every page wonder.
