Kodansha, one of the leading American manga publishers, has announced a three-day print licensing event on social media today! The newly licensed series and premium editions revealed during the event will be on the shelves in fall 2025. The exact release date for each title may be announced in the coming months. The opening day of Kodansha’s fall 2025 license event begins with an exciting omnibus edition. Mushishi’s New Edition justified the enthusiasm of the fans. This isn’t just a beloved fantasy series with long print volumes, but the new release also features the latest cover illustrations and updated translations.
Kodansha is also regaining another fan favorite from Minetaro Mochizuki. Following last year’s announcement of Huntress, the new omnibus version of Dragon Head feels like a perfectly timed addition.
The publisher confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that the announcement of the next round will continue tomorrow, February 18th at 10am PST/1:00 PM EST.
