Marvel Comics revealed new details surrounding Phoenix #11. This presents the next story arc of the series. The new series artist, written by Stephanie Phillips, will be Roi Mercado along with series cover artist Lucas Werneck.

“It’s been an incredible experience to work on this book. I can’t wait for you to read the next chapter of Jean’s journey,” Phillips said. “We’re becoming bigger, more ambitious, and we’re continuing to step up our action, and there may be some unexpected reunions among the stars. This new arc will be cosmic and intense. Push Jean in a way that will surprise everyone, including her.”

So what about Phoenix #11?

Life and death among the stars!

The universe faces a great imbalance! destruction! The coming death…and only Phoenix can get in the way! But that’s not the only… Jean Gray’s calling into the universe and responsibility for the galaxy suddenly becomes very personal with the return of a loved one that has been lost for a long time.

The latest issue of Phoenix began with publication #8 last week.

New York, New York – February 12, 2025 – Phoenix’s power never burns brightly!

Since Stephanie Phillips and Alessandro Miracolo’s Phoenix were released last year, Jean Gray has been reborn as the universe superhero she was destined to be! As the Galaxy’s primary guardian, Jean struggles to hold onto her humanity at the top of her abilities in the reality-shaking battles with Perix, Thanos and the dark gods. Her biggest test will be in May this year at Phoenix #11, with the return of someone so close to Jean’s heart, which will lead to doubting her whole purpose as Phoenix. The beginning of an all-new arc, Phoenix #11 has also marked the exciting debut of new series artist Roy Mercado, a recent participant in the Marvel Art Atelier Training Program at Disneyland Paris, and has now marked the first cover by the new cover artist of the series. I’ll introduce it to you. , superstar talent Lucas Wellneck.
