The Omega Palace is set in a vast AU known as the Omegaverse. Originally started in the West, the genre began to appear in BL manga, heading to Japan and other countries. There is a lot to explain about the rules of Omegaverse, so if you need a brief explanation, check out Good Ol’ Wikipedia.
Omega Palace focuses on the 13th Prince of Royal Romeridar, the only Omega, the dishonest Prince Ilia. He is sent to marry the king of Hanu, the alpha, to solidify the relationship between both kingdoms. Ilia thinks his life is cruelly treated as an omega, and that this will simply be a deal without emotion, and that his body is not his own for what he is. Masu.
To her surprise, Ilia is warmly welcomed by Hanu. Hanu has a high and respected position with Omega. At the palace he meets a boy he gently teases until the boy says very seriously. And this proves true. The day Ilia will marry, she finds herself to become his husband standing before him. He is a little boy I met before.

There are several political plots in the Omega Palace. In other words, they are the royal brothers of Hanu, who compete for the throne. The plot includes assassination, overthrowing the government, and making Ilia the new king’s spouse.
It’s an exciting addition to other issues readers can find in the comics. It’s the shame that Ilia is an Omega and his defeatist attitude. The desire to help the young Khalid country and become Ilia’s good husband. And of course, the trouble between the two due to the age gap. (Don’t worry, this is well handled.)
The story will attract you easily, but I have to talk about cartoon character art, set designs and costumes. This volume is gorgeous. The cover shows you what you can expect from an artistic detail and impressive aesthetic perspective, especially as far as clothing is concerned.

In the photo above, Ilia wears a large amount of jewels and has a badly decorated collar around her neck. As Omega has religious importance and is respected in Hanu, Ilia’s delicateness reflects how he is treated. In particular, the neck collar is a more fancy version of many of the collars that Omega sees wearing in other Omegaverse manga. It is designed to protect the omega nape until the time comes when the alpha bites and pairs it with an official. In Hanu, this collar is also a status symbol.

In the image above, you can see a completely different style from Ilia’s Royal Consort clothing. This is the prince of another country, and his clothes reflect that along with his hairstyle. You can say he is royal based on the richness of his clothes and its details.
Fumi tsuyuhisa (two Mangakas work together under one name) takes great care to give every character a unique look. You can see it not only in costumes, but also in the rendering of the country of Hanu.

I pre-ordered the Omega Palace and read it at once. The relationship between characters, art and environment, and storytelling – everything caught my attention. Ilia thinks he has none of himself, the struggle of Omega to outweigh his destiny as he causes a rivet conflict, but Khalid says he has nothing to do with him I’m watching. The story risks power-hungry royals both inside and outside. And you can tell the relationship between Ilia and Khalid and something still amazing upset.
Volume 1 has a cliffhanger and a bit of a twist, but you can guess the twist based on the interior art of each chapter and the cover of Volume 2 (coming soon). But this doesn’t dampen the experience, but it’s exciting to see the story continue. There is a considerable amount of jump in the story with a major change in the plot and character, but this makes it even more interesting for readers… and thankfully, the author does not need side steps during the jump We have decided to hold an exposition.
I enjoyed this first volume and am grateful for how beautiful the comic is. The story is interesting and the art is beautiful. I just want to do my best for the character and can’t wait to see how things resolve.
