MARVEL COMICS has revealed a variant cover of a new series with a kimono variation called Peach Momoko. The 19 cover is a spotlight on a wide range of characters, including icons, fans’ favorite, and recently introduced breakout stars. These stunning portraits have a unique artistic vision that surprise Momako to surprise the storytelling in her acclaimed series and cover works.
“When Marvel’s hero drew a kimono, I enjoyed seeing people simply wearing a kimono as a fashion item,” said Momoko. “I didn’t want to stick only to the traditional formal image, so I tried to bring out the personality of a superhero wearing a kimono as a very casual appearance. The overall design is simple, but each cover. I hope you can feel WABI-SABI. “
