Fog is generous for fear. It literally creates an uncertainty air for who or what is lurking, creating a repressive and intimidating atmosphere. The wolf man, vampires, and ghouls were all happy to be fog. Alfred Hitchcock once used it for the hunting of serial murderers, such as the 1927 silent movie The Lodger: a Story of the London Fog, and Jack the Ripper. CLIVE BARKER reminds me of some of them for the terrible and terrifying wolf sequence of his short story “Twilight at The Towers”.

Now, DEAD SKY PUBLISHING is throwing the hat into the fog ring in the order of magic, occult, and hell recovery ven. Written by Levi Collie and drawn by Elizabeth Mukazeze, Eva de la Cruz is colored and Maria Leticia Mirabella is painted in lettering.

The summary of the official plot of the press release is as follows.

“Winter 1952. Mysterious and fatal smog wrapped around the city and panic. Crime has risen, hospitals are overrun, companies are closed, and all travels are closed. Dorothy. This is the perfect cover to protect London from the Middle Ages. Dorothy was sentenced to a hell, who was sentenced to a hell to get the death of the death. Hell for the blades.

From these pages, it is quite quick and clear that the fog is a constant being that directly affects the story and its character. It is not just a gimmick or a function of setting. Also, here is the whole business where the devil is dragging people into hell, and here is a little Hellaiser. It will be a little clearer on the exclusive preview page. This has already indicated that horror fans will be rewarded if it takes time to scan each page carefully. It seems that there is something more than we thought we were hiding in the fog first.

The Order of the Circle is an original graphic novel and will be released on February 18, 2025. The exclusive preview page is as follows:
