Bluesky has announced that it will add a new video tab to the user profile as part of the software update. This is not so weird. This is an easy way to browse all videos posted by someone, whether the user is original content or from other social networks. This is similar to the existing “media” tab, but it is only for videos.

This is another “conversion to video” by Bluesky. The company has recently introduced a vertical video function called a trend video, which reminds me of Tiktok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels.
There are also some Tiktok rivals based on Bluesky’s AT protocol, but most of them are still closed. Mark Cuban, a billionaire, also wants to participate in this activity. Of course, if Tiktok is actually banned, all of these rising people will receive the long -awaited injection, but no one knows what is happening there.
Bluesky Update 1.97 is not just video tabs. It also streamlines the process of blocking the user that appears in the DM and provides translation improvement.
