Given that “Aster: The Last Celestial Knight #1” was the first issue of the 1995 series, I predicted that this was the beginning of the story.
However, it seems to be continuing since the conclusion of the previous series, and it may be somewhat confusing for beginners.
This is a story of a cosmic superhero based on a “classic” tradition, from melodrama -like conversation, sexy and a female character who has less motivation than longing for a hero.
It is not wonderful to say modestly, and there is certainly no intention of reading the issue of this series, but it must be mentioned how brilliant the cover of the chrome is. Not only is it very glossy (there is a wrap around, both on the front and back of the comic), but also a light texture. I like a jacket with a lot of ridiculous gimmicks in the 90’s, but this is one of the best I have ever seen.
It’s a pity that the story itself is too poor and the quality of the art varies. Nevertheless, it was incredibly cheap (please call the pool paradox comic), and given the price, it was definitely worth buying just a stunning cover.
