Today is a brand new Spider-Man day. Thanks to Marvel, we have some preview pages ready for the day. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1 is the long-awaited reset that everyone has been waiting for, with a script by Joe Kelly, art by Pepe Larraz and John Romita Jr., and colors by Marte Gracia. The first issue begins with a battle with Rhino, and things go according to plan, but something tragic happens at the end.
“Spider-Man was probably the first Marvel comic I read as a kid,” Larraz said. “It’s an even greater honor to be able to portray this character and to have it guided by Joe Kelly’s hands. I’ve loved so much of Joe’s writing, from the way he builds his character to his dialogue, humor and sense of action. I’m a fan. Joe is great in everything he does, but what’s most important to me is that his stories are important and always touch on relevant themes.”
