It’s hard to believe that it’s been more than three years since it was officially announced that Charlie Cox would be returning to the role of Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, in a new Disney+ original, but the Marvel Netflix show is set to become a Marvel Netflix show. Not only did it fit into the cinematic universe, but it remained true. This series has a mature, rough tone. The wait is almost over today as the first Daredevil: Born Again trailer was released.
In addition to Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio will reprise his role as Wilson Fisk, who is now the mayor of New York. Other familiar and popular actors include Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Hensen as Foggy Nelson, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher, and Benjamin Poindexter (basically the character of Bullseye). ) and Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk.
Other cast members include Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Zabrina Guevara as Sheila Rivera, and Nikki M. James as Kirsten McDuffie. So are Jeneya Walton, Artie Frushian, Clark Johnson, and Michael Gandolfini.
Similarly, the trailer for Daredevil: Born Again gives us our first glimpse of the villain Muse and the character of Hector Ayala/White Tiger, played by Camal de los Reyes.
Dario Scardapane will serve as showrunner. Episode directors include Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, and David Boyd. Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Sana Amanat, Chris Gailey, Dario Scardapan, Matt Corman and Chris Ord, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorehead.
Official description:
In Daredevil: Born Again, Murdock, a highly qualified blind lawyer, fights for justice through his vibrant law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) fights for justice in New York. Pursuing his own political activities. As their past identities begin to emerge, the two find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
Needless to say, this Daredevil: Born Again series has encountered many hurdles since it was first announced nearly three years ago, and this seems like a natural progression for Marvel Studios post-Endgame . Among the setbacks was the firing of head writers Chris Ord and Matt Corman, as well as the director, due to dissatisfaction with how the series was straying from the direction of the original Netflix series. Furthermore, Marvel Studios was not happy that the title character did not appear in costume until the fourth episode.
