The Super Bowl tends to be a cultural moment, even for those who don’t know about extra points by safeties. This year, there is a free streaming option if you want to watch the entire program, including Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show. The broadcast will be available in 4K on Tubi, a free, ad-supported streaming TV platform owned by Fox.
This year will be the first time Tubi will play an NFL finals game as part of the program. Fox Sports has announced plans to mark the occasion of Super Bowl LIX with a “takeover” of Tubi, including not only a live stream of the game, but also a special red carpet pre-show. Tubi will also broadcast Countdown to the Super Bowl on NFL Channel beginning January 28, highlighting key moments in the championship’s history.
Super Bowl LIX will be available on FOX, FOX Deportes, Tubi and Telemundo, as well as NFL digital properties, with no pay TV authorization required. The match will take place on February 9th.
