Marvel Comics has released more Black History Month covers joining the celebration of Black History Month with Storm: Life Dreams. Marvel has also released the Star Wars Black History Month cover.
Today, fans can get their first look at the cover by artists Kris Allen, Tauren Clark, Ken Lashley, and Alisa Martinez. These covers beautifully depict today’s major Black heroes, including popular icons and fan favorites like Black Panther and Captain America. And a completely new character!
Here are eight heroes to watch this year and where to find them.
Black Panther, legendary superhero and king of Wakanda. T’Challa is currently seen at the helm in Jed McKay and Farid Karami’s hit film The Avengers. Captain America (Sam Wilson)’s latest high-flying adventure began last week with Evan Narcisse, Greg Pak, and Eder Mesias as Sam Wilson. : Captain America Frenzy, Quinn’s X-Factor, a former villain who now lends his superpowers to Mark Russell and Robert’s government-sanctioned mutant team. New Champions!A mysterious new Wakandan hero who debuted in Power Man. Power Man, or rather a version of him from the distant future! Next month, Colin Kelly, Jackson Lansing and Bernard Chan’s ‘Power Man: Timeless! Spider-Man (Miles Morales)” in Brooklyn’s own web, be there when this futuristic Luke Cage and his awe-inspiring array of powers enter the modern Marvel Universe. Slinger is currently enjoying high-profile runs against the likes of Cody Ziggler and Luigi Zagaria, and will soon face Deadpool for the first time. Upcoming ‘Pool of Blood’ Crossover! Storm, Earth’s mightiest mutant and one of Marvel’s most groundbreaking superheroes. Celebrating 50 years of storytelling this year, the iconic Both are starring in ongoing series. The young mutant, who can control his body temperature, was recently promoted to the main X-Men team following the leadership of Cyclops in Jed McKay and Ryan Stegman’s X-Men.
