Elvie, known for its popular wearable breast pump, is showing off new baby products at CES. Called Rise, it’s an app-controlled baby bouncer that can transform into a bassinet with your baby inside.
The $799 device is designed for infants a few months old. According to Elvie, the bouncer is suitable for babies up to 6 months old, and the bassinet is suitable for babies up to 5 months old or 22 pounds.
“Bouncer Mode” allows parents to customize specific bounce patterns from the included Elvie Rise Sleep & Soothe app. The company says its “SootheLoop” technology is intended for gentle movements similar to those of a caregiver, rather than the robot’s repetitive motions. There’s also a manual mode where you can bounce it on your own as your baby grows a little bigger and stronger.
Elvie said in a press release that its own research found that two-thirds of infants aged 0 to 3 months often sleep in “unsafe” products such as bouncers and swings. I am. Rise aims to address this problem, as it allows parents to switch from bouncer mode to bassinet mode, preferably without waking their child.

Rise is equipped with a “transition handle” that allows parents to transition the device between modes. In bouncer mode, you need to press the bottom edge near your feet, grab the handle and pull up the sides to form a wall. The bassinet straps automatically retract from bouncer mode, creating a suitable surface for sleeping.
The company says its bassinet complies with American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) sleep safety guidelines, but infants should not be left unattended inside the bouncer. This device is designed to be more portable than a typical bassinet. It folds up for easy portability and comes with a magnetic charger so you can use it even when it’s not plugged in.
Elvie Rise is available for pre-order now. The company plans to begin shipping orders on March 14, 2025.
