Beats updated its high-end flagship wireless headphones last year, adding a number of upgrades to its successor, the Studio 3 Wireless. Beats Studio Pro has better sound, active noise cancellation (ANC), spatial audio, and more. However, the $350 price tag didn’t necessarily make it stand out in the fierce competition from Sony and Bose. Well, today on Amazon, premium headphones have something new to offer that rivals don’t have. It retails for just $170. That’s 51% off and only $10 more than the all-time low price.
Beats Studio Pro doesn’t look much different than the Studio 3 Wireless it replaces, but it adds subtle aesthetic touches like new colors, tone-on-tone finishes, and UltraPlush memory foam (leather-wrapped) earpads. I am. Of course, each earpiece features the brand’s iconic lowercase “b” logo.

But the biggest changes are under the hood. Using Beats’ second-generation audio chip and new 40mm drivers with dual-layer diaphragms, micro-vents, and acoustic mesh, it delivers improved clarity and a more balanced profile than Studio 3 Wireless. However, the effectiveness of digital tricks varies from track to track, ranging from breathing new life into old tracks to making little noticeable difference in other genres.
The headphones also allow you to listen to high-resolution lossless music up to 24-bit/48 kHz via USB-C wired listening. It also features a transparent mode, which allows up to 40 hours of listening with ANC off (approximately 24 hours with ANC or transparent mode on). It also features a fast fuel feature that gives you 4 hours of playback after just 10 minutes of charging.
If ANC isn’t a priority, you might consider the Beats Solo 4, which is also on sale and cheaper. With better sound quality and longer battery life than the Solo 3, this 2024 model is on sale for half the price of $100 on Amazon.
