Last week, TechCrunch reported that Google allegedly told contractors evaluating Gemini not to skip any prompts, regardless of their expertise, based on internal guidance seen by the company.

Contractors are currently being told not to skip prompts that “require specialized subject matter knowledge” and to “assess the parts of the prompt that they understand,” which means they have no knowledge. A note has been added that this is not the field in which it is held. You can skip it if it’s missing much of the information or contains harmful content.

Google provided a statement to Engadget, saying the evaluators “perform a wide range of tasks across many different Google products and platforms.” They will provide valuable feedback not only on the content of your answers, but also on style, format, and other elements. ”
