This week, we reflect on the hellish year of 2024 and consider where we go from here. This year started off with a lot of hype about artificial intelligence, but that was tempered by seeing how useless many AI features are. It’s also clear that many companies, including Microsoft and Apple, are trying to impose half-baked AI concepts on users. Looking ahead, we can expect a tough few years for the technology industry (not to mention the world at large).
