There’s less than a week left until Christmas. If you haven’t finished your holiday shopping yet, it’s time to start. While it may be too late to ship most items by Wednesday morning, there are still plenty of decent tech deals for people you’re meeting after the holidays or just want to treat yourself to. . As an example, our pick for best wireless earbuds, Sony’s WF-1000XM5, is down to an all-time low of $198, while the 10th generation iPad is back at an all-time high of $250. Other gadgets we recommend are discounted as well, including the PlayStation 5, Roku Streaming Stick 4K, and Apple AirTags. Here are the week’s best tech deals available today.
Sony WF-1000XM5 for $198 at Amazon ($102 off MSRP): The XM5 is our top pick in our guide to the best wireless earbuds, with great noise cancellation, warm, customizable sound, and 8 It offers ~12 hours of battery life and high functionality. Useful bonus features. Although the design may not fit comfortably in everyone’s ears, it is slimmer and lighter than previous versions. This discount matches the lowest price we’ve seen so far and is $30 below the Black Friday deal for this pair. You can also find it at Target and Best Buy.
Apple iPad (10th generation) for $250 ($99 off) at Amazon: This matches our best budget picks in our iPad buying guide. However, note that this only applies to the silver model and you’ll need to clip the coupon on the page to see the full discount at checkout. The entry-level iPad lacks the iPad Air’s laminated display, faster chips, and support for a wide range of accessories, but it’s still a good value for casual web browsing, reading, and gaming.
Roku Streaming Stick 4K for $29 ($21 off) at Amazon: Picked from our guide to the best streaming devices, the Roku Streaming Stick 4K supports all major HDR formats, streaming apps (aside from Twitch) It is lightweight and easy to operate. ) and Apple AirPlay. However, its search feature isn’t as comprehensive as some of its competing streamers, and its UI isn’t the most visually appealing either. This deal is the same price we saw on Black Friday. That’s a few dollars higher than the stock’s all-time low, but still $5 below the normal rate in recent months. You can also find it at Target and Best Buy.

PlayStation 5 (Slim) for $424 ($76 off) at Amazon: This 15% discount has been in place since before Black Friday, but Sony says it ends on December 24th, so this is your last chance. Please think about it. This isn’t the best price we’ve ever seen, but larger drops were still rare last year. This bundle includes several Fortnite skins and V-Bucks, and is also available on console only for the same price. You can also purchase it in conjunction with the RPG Dragon Age: The Veilguard and EA Sports games for $450 at Walmart and Best Buy. Also at Target, GameStop, and PlayStation Direct.
PlayStation 5 Digital Edition (Slim) + NBA 2K25 for $374 ($76 off) at GameStop: Even if you’re not interested in owning physical media, you can still save an extra $50 upfront by purchasing the all-digital PS5. This bundle includes the latest NBA 2K game, but you can also purchase the Fortnite bundle mentioned above and the standalone console for $375 each. Also available at Target, Best Buy, and PlayStation Direct.
Buy a $100 PlayStation Store Gift Card + $15 Target Gift Card for $100 at Target ($15 Off, Target Circle Only): If you receive a digital PlayStation Store Gift Card worth $100 or more at Target, the retailer will give you a unique A $15 e-gift card will be included with your purchase. The problem is that you need Target Circle membership to use it, but it’s at least free to sign up for it. If you shop at Target frequently and were planning on earning PlayStation credits anyway, it’s hard to complain about the bonus amount anyway. The same benefits are available with Xbox Gift Cards. Target says both promotions expire on Friday.

Apple AirTags (4-pack) for $70 ($29 off) at Amazon: Apple’s Bluetooth tracker is, of course, a top pick for iPhone users because it lets you accurately locate tagged items from the Find My app. Recommended. The waterproof design and replaceable battery are also nice, but you’ll need to get a holder or case if you want to attach it to your keys. This deal isn’t the lowest price ever for a four-pack, but it’s several dollars above the street price we’ve seen for most of the past month. Also at Best Buy.
Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) for $80 ($49 off) at Amazon: This discount marks the highest price to date for Apple’s 2nd Generation Pencil stylus, which continues to be a precise tool for sketching and note-taking. It costs less than a dollar. But to be clear, you should only get it if you have an older iPad Air, Pro, or mini and don’t plan on upgrading anytime soon. Otherwise, we recommend the Apple Pencil Pro, which works with newer models and adds built-in Find My support and more. Also available at Target.
LG B4 OLED TV (48-inch) + $50 Best Buy Gift Card for $600 ($250 off) at Best Buy: The B4 is LG’s 2024 entry-level OLED TV. You get the core benefit of a good OLED set: excellent contrast. It has deep black tones, wide viewing angles, and fast motion, but it’s not as bright as some top-tier OLEDs, so it’s best used in dark rooms. That said, if you don’t mind a smaller panel, this is a great value. This offer rivals the biggest cash discount we’ve ever seen, and unlike any deal we’ve seen on Black Friday, it also includes a $50 digital gift card.

Half-Life: Alyx for $20 on Steam ($40 off): In case you missed it, Valve kicked off its annual Steam Winter Sale yesterday, along with its usual buffet of discounted PC games. Served together. There are too many sales to list them all here, but this is tied for the lowest price ever for Half-Life: Alyx, a must-see FPS for VR newbies. Some other notable highlights: Halo: The Master Chief Collection for $10, Orange Box for $2, Grand Theft Auto IV (and DLC) for $6, Titanfall 2 for $3, Pizza Tower for $13 (Trust me on this one) The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is $8. According to Valve, the sale will last until January 2nd.
Super Mario RPG for $30 at GameStop ($30 off): The SNES classic Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars didn’t need a remake on the Switch, but it got one last year anyway. Thankfully, the new version retains the quirky spirit of the original while honing the visuals into true 3D. If you want to enjoy a light RPG, this is the lowest price ever.
Backbone One (2nd Generation) for $50 at Best Buy ($50 off): Backbone One is a comfortable mobile gamepad that connects directly to your phone’s USB-C port, making playing console-style games more natural. It will look like this. This is comparable to the all-time low for the latest model.

Anker Soundcore Space A40 for $45 on Amazon ($40 off): The Soundcore Space A40 has been a perennial top choice in our guide to the best budget earphones. It can’t match the Sony XM5s in terms of sound quality or noise canceling strength, but it matches it admirably for far less money. Wireless charging, multipoint connectivity, 8-10 hours of battery life, and compact design all help, but call quality is mediocre and there’s no auto-pause when you remove the earbuds. This is the same deal we saw on Black Friday. Excluding a few drops for Costco members, sales are at an all-time low. You can also use coupons on the page at Anker.
JLab Go Air Pop for $10 at Target ($15 off): The Go Air Pop is another pair featured in our budget earbuds buying guide. As you might expect from the price, it’s basic, with no active noise cancellation (ANC), an all-plastic design, and a relatively boomy sound. JLab released a new ANC version in October. That said, the audio quality on the older model is still acceptable, the built-in touch controls actually work, and the battery life lasts a solid 8-9 hours. If you want a capable pair for as little money as possible, it’s hard to spend more than $10. This contract ties the lowest record in pop music history.
Keychron Q3 Max for $182 ($32 off) at Keychron: The Keychron Q Max series is a top pick in our guide to the best mechanical keyboards, offering a premium (if heavy) aluminum case, a fun typing experience, and deep customizability. It is combined. This matches the all-time low Black Friday price for the tenkeyless model, but other sizes are discounted as well. It’s also available on Amazon for $188, but only for Prime members.

Beats Pill for $100 ($50 off) on Amazon: Over the summer, we gave the latest Beats Pill an 83 score and currently recommend it in our Bluetooth speaker buying guide. It’s not the best pure value and struggles at maximum volume, but it generally puts out strong bass without sounding unbalanced. A sleek, water-resistant design, decent battery life, and wired audio support via USB-C make it even more appealing. This contract ties the speaker’s lowest record ever. You can also find it at Target and Walmart.
Samsung Pro Plus (512GB) for $38 at Amazon ($38 off): The Pro Plus is our top pick in our guide to the best microSD cards. It’s not the cheapest option, but it was faster than most options in our benchmark tests, especially in random performance. This makes it work a little better on devices like portable gaming PCs and Raspberry Pis that often need to access small pieces of data in random locations. This 512GB model has previously been sold at a lower price, but this discount marks the lowest price since March. Even Samsung and B&H.
Google Pixel 8a at Amazon for $399 ($100 off): This is the second highest price for an unlocked Pixel 8a, and we think it’s the best mid-range smartphone for Android fans. It has most of the highlights you get on flagship Pixel smartphones, including a great camera, a crisp 120Hz OLED display, clean software updated through 2031, solid performance and battery life, but at a slightly cheaper price. It’s just housed in a plastic frame. Charging speed will be slower. However, at this price, it should be easier to use. You can also find it at Target and Best Buy.
Anchor prime power bank. (Photo by Amy Schoheim/Engadget)
Buy Anker Prime Power Bank for $78 ($52 off) on Amazon: Anker Prime is highly recommended in our best power bank guide. It might be overkill for most people, but the large 20,000mAh capacity and two 100W USB-C ports allow you to charge multiple laptops at full speed, as well as mobile devices. There’s also a 65W USB-A port, as well as a handy display to keep you updated on battery status. This deal matches the lowest price ever seen. You can also use coupons on the page at Anker.
Anker 525 Charging Station on sale for $30 on Amazon ($26 off, Prime only): We recommend this 67W desktop charging station in our gift guide for remote workers. It’s not the fastest model, but it packs four USB ports (two USB-C, two USB-A) and three AC outlets into a design compact enough to fit on even a crowded desk. This deal is only available to Prime members, but it’s also an all-time low.
Twelve South AirFly Pro for $40 ($15 off) on Amazon: Another recommendation from our holiday gift guide, the AirFly Pro lets you attach up to two sets of wireless headphones to your in-flight entertainment system, old treadmill, or just about any other A Bluetooth transmitter that can be paired with your device. 3.5mm jack. This discount is the lowest price in years. Also at Best Buy.
