Another day, another Tesla recall. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued a notice to owners of approximately 700,000 Tesla vehicles warning them of a problem with a warning light in their tire pressure monitoring system, the Associated Press reported. Ta.
This recall affects 2024 Cybertruck, 2017-2025 Model 3, and 2020-2025 Model Y vehicles. NHTSA says the tire pressure monitoring system warning light may not come on until your next drive.
Tesla announced it will send an off-road (OTR) update to vehicles affected by the warning light issue. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on February 15, 2025.
There have been more than a few Tesla recalls and OTRs over the past year. NHTSA recorded seven Cybertruck recalls last year to address issues including a defective rearview camera, windshield wiper and a loose trunk bed. In June, Tesla announced that 1.8 million vehicles, including some 2021-2024 Model 3, S, and Issued an over-the-air update to fix a hood that could come loose.
