I hate cleaning bathrooms, especially showers and bathtubs. It’s my least favorite chore for several reasons. First, my house doesn’t have a particularly large bathroom, so I have to either bend into a pretzel position or take a shower to effectively clean inside the shower. I’ve also tried many different types of cleaners, but none of them were able to do the job I liked when used with a sponge and a little (a lot) of elbow grease. But everything changed when I purchased this Leebein electric spin scrubber just a month ago.
I don’t know what took me so long to invest in these gadgets, but I’m so glad I finally did because my shower has never been cleaner. I bought Leavine because it had a lot of good reviews on Amazon and was pretty affordable at $40 during Black Friday. I also liked that the description said it could be charged via USB-C (which it is). Because some of the “normal” gadgets I own still use stone-age microUSB. Levine at least embraces modernity.
After charging the wand, I had no trouble swapping out the brush head for whichever of the eight included brush heads I wanted to use. The handle can be extended so I could stand outside the shower panting and clean the inside without completely breaking my back. The scrubber has two speed levels, and the high speed combined with the course brush gave a powerful effect that was far more than my elbow could handle.
Discoloration, soap scum, and dirt are no match for this combination. When you’re done using it, you can easily disassemble the whole thing and store it in the box it came in or in the trash can in your laundry room. I haven’t taken the leavein out of the bathroom yet, but I’ve tried some cloth brushes on the wood floors and cleaned part of the sink drain with a small pointed brush. I’m looking forward to it. But even if the Leavine remained a bathroom-only tool, it would still be worth its weight in gold, as it makes my least favorite chore much more bearable. — Valentina Palladino, Deputy Editor
