Do you think third time is the charm? Marvel Comics has announced the third sequel to the series Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe. A sequel to the popular limited series from writer Cullen Bunn and artist Dalibor Tarazic, the third in a trilogy is rather cleverly called DEADPOOL KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE ONE LAST TIME. Masu. And it’s exactly what you expected.
“Oh, hey! It’s so ridiculous that my friend Dalibah and I are back at it again and good ol’ Wade is killing off all of our favorite heroes!” Bunn said in a Marvel press release. “And to celebrate this occasion, we’ve come up with a crazy story for you! It’s a heartwarming feeling for us to see so much goodwill and support this book brings us. All kidding aside, I wouldn’t have come back for a new Deadpool Kills story unless I came up with something totally unexpected, and that’s what I think is the most epic story ever. You can also enjoy the story of Deadpool.
“It seems like a long time ago when I first wrote a Deadpool story. I didn’t even know who he was at the time,” Tarazic said. “Still, my life changed when ‘Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe’ happened. So every time I have a chance to go back to him, it feels like I’m reuniting with an old friend. It will be.”
“It’s a real pleasure to work with Karen again. Over the years, we’ve worked on different stories together, but Deadpool is…always a great party!” This is the third time I’ve imagined killing an entire universe, and I’m in awe of this man’s imagination.
