Skybound has released the cover for Transformers #16, which will be released on January 8th. This is an Autobot vs. Decepticon issue. Written by Daniel Warren Johnson, art by Jorge Corona, and colors by Sarah Stern, the film is the next chapter in the Energon Universe’s larger story. Read our review of Transformers #14.

Covers by Daniel Warren Johnson and Mike Spicer, Transformers #16 variant covers include orderable cover B by series artists Jorge Corona and Mike Spicer, and Connecting Cover Series by Karl Kerschl Contains a 1:10 incentive variant (The Adventures of Superman), a 1:25 incentive variant with a cover by Manabu Yashiro (Chariot Chair), and a 1:50 incentive variant with cover artist Homare Incentive variant.

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 5, 2024 — Today, Skybound and Image Comics teamed up with leading toy and game company Hasbro to release Transformers #, the two-time Eisner Award-winning series from author Daniel Warren Johnson (Extremety). We have announced a lineup of 16 variant covers. , Do a Powerbomb), artist Jorge Corona (Midwest), and colorist Sarah Stern (Batgirls). The next chapter in the Tentpole Energon Universe story is scheduled to hit comic book shop shelves on January 8, 2025.

Autobots vs. Decepticons!

In addition to the main cover by Daniel Warren Johnson and Mike Spicer, the lineup of variant covers for Transformers #16 includes order-ready cover B by series artists Jorge Corona and Mike Spicer, Continue Connecting 1:10 Includes incentive variants. Cover series by Karl Kerschl (The Adventures of Superman), 1:25 incentive variant with cover by Manabu Yashiro (Chariot Chair), and 1:50 incentive variant Homare by cover artist.

Transformers is the cornerstone of the Energon Universe and the culmination of Hasbro and Skybound’s historic collaboration, introducing a brand new era of the Transformers and GI Joe series into one shared comic universe. Other Energon Universe titles include Void, an ongoing series from writer Robert Kirkman (Invincible, The Walking Dead), artist Lorenzo De Felici (Chroma), and colorist Patricio Delpeche (Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country); Rivals” and writer Joshua’s new work “GI JOE.” Williamson (Superman, The Dark Ride), artist Tom Riley (The Thing) and colorist Jordy Bellaire (W0rldtr33). The Energon Universe also includes the GI JOE miniseries “Duke” by Joshua Williamson, Tom Riley, and Jordy Bellaire. Cobra Commander by Joshua Williamson, Andrea Milana (Impact Winter: Luke), and Annalisa Leoni (Oblivion Song). Scarlett was created by writer Kelly Thompson (Black Widow, Birds of Prey), artist Marco Ferrari (The Frontiersman), and colorist Lee Lockridge (I Hate This Place, Killadelphia). )from. Writer Dan Watters (Loki, Universal Monsters: The Creature of the Black Lagoon Live!), artist Andrei Bressan (Dark Ride, Birthright), and colorist Adriano – Mr. Destro by Mr. Lucas (“Dark Ride,” “Birthright”) introduces the series’ iconic characters. GI JOE and the Cobra faction head to the Energon Universe. Fans can expect unmissable moments in every issue of Energon Universe. Secrets are revealed as we answer big questions from some of the biggest series in comics today.

Transformers #16 (Lunar code below | $3.99) will be available in comic book shops and digital platforms including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
