Cyber Monday is almost here, and many of our recommended SSDs, portable drives, microSD cards, and other storage devices are still available at lower-than-usual prices. To help you separate the discounts worth your time from the junk, we’ve rounded up the best Cyber Monday storage deals you can find below.
Before we get into it, it’s important to note that storage prices have generally trended upward over the past year, so many of the deals we feature below aren’t all-time lows. However, both are at least lower than they have been in recent months.
WD Black SN850X (2TB) PCIe 4.0 SSD for $125 at SanDisk ($35 off MSRP): The fast SN850X is the top PCIe 4.0 drive in our best SSD guide, making it ideal for gaming and general use. is the best “default” choice. While this is far from the highest price ever for a 2TB model, it’s the biggest discount we’ve seen so far in 2024. Crucial P3 (2TB) PCIe 3.0 SSD for $104 ($26 off) on Amazon: If you’re looking to upgrade an older system, the Crucial P3 is the PCIe 3.0 of choice in our SSD buying guide. This deal is well below the lowest price ever for the 2TB version (which was in the $75 range this time last year), but it’s the best price we’ve found since February. Crucial X9 Pro (1TB) Portable SSD for $80 ($21 off) on Amazon: The Crucial X9 Pro is the best portable SSD with a rugged, compact design and reliable performance for most everyday tasks. This is what we have selected as. The 1TB version dropped to $60 last year, the biggest discount we’ve seen in 2024. The 2TB model is in a similar situation, dropping to $120. Kingston XS1000 (1TB) Portable SSD for $64 ($21 off) at B&H: The Kingston XS1000 is our runner-up in our portable SSD guide. Overall it has similar performance to the X9 Pro, but it’s not water resistant, doesn’t come with a USB-C to USB-C cable, and gets a little stiff after extended use. Still, it’s great value. This deal comes within $1 of the all-time low price for the 1TB model. If you want something more spacious, the 2TB version costs $102, about $18 less than the regular retail price. Crucial X10 Pro (1TB) Portable SSD for $91 ($59 off) at Amazon: The X10 Pro is basically a faster version of your favorite portable SSD, but you’ll notice the difference when you get a device that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2×2. WD Black C50 Expansion Card (1TB) for Xbox for $99 ($59 off) at Amazon: It’s frustrating, but the only way to completely increase the storage on your Xbox Series X/S is with your own expansion card. is.
