Last year, Valiant Comics announced a new partnership with Alien Books, with Alien taking over publishing of Valiant characters. Alien Books, which has been described as “the birth of a new Valiant era,” is currently releasing Resurgence of the Dead, written by Fred Van Lente, who is familiar with the publisher’s characters having worked on the 2012 Valiant series. We are in the middle of a crossover event called “The Valiant Universe”. Valiant Comics has been renewed. The event becomes a hero vs. hero showdown, as the villain Dr. Silk turns the world upside down by eliminating death and disease on Earth and resurrecting long-dead heroes.
The third issue, which will be available in comic shops next week on November 27th, sees Armstrong on the brink of death after being mistakenly attacked by his brother Gilad, the Eternal Warrior. The Beat is proud to present an exclusive preview of Resurgence of the Valiant Universe #3.
The penultimate issue will be published in December and the final issue will be published in January. Alien Books has since teased something new and exciting for Valiant fans in the new year. Keep your eyes peeled and check out the preview below.
